SYNOPSIS

Outside a ministry building in Yaounde, the capital of Cameroon, a young man sells audio tapes, magazines, old sports newspapers and football souvenirs. He’s known as “Mister Foot”.
Everyday at the same time, he plays a tape of an old football match of the Cameroonian national team. People crowd around the stand and civil servants lean out of their office windows to listen—all reminiscing the glory days of Cameroonian football.

One day Mister Foot helps a young man who has been following him. And so he’s introduced to the blurry and complex world of Cameroonian football, a few months after the country’s astonishing performance at the 1990 World Cup Tournament in Italy.
