SYNOPSIS
Outside a ministry building in Yaounde, the capital of
Cameroon, a young man sells audio tapes, magazines, old sports newspapers
and football souvenirs. Hes known as Mister Foot.
Everyday at the same time, he plays a tape of an old football match of
the Cameroonian national team. People crowd around the stand and civil
servants lean out of their office windows to listenall reminiscing
the glory days of Cameroonian football.
One day Mister Foot helps a young man who has been following him. And
so hes introduced to the blurry and complex world of Cameroonian
football, a few months after the countrys astonishing performance
at the 1990 World Cup Tournament in Italy.
